Coordination and Support Action BrainHealth

The CSA BrainHealth addresses the biomedical, economic and societal challenges of diseases and decreased mental health in Europe, aiming for collaborative solutions in prevention, diagnosis and therapies. The overarching goal is to foster and promote global brain health and enhance the well-being of individuals with mental disorders or neurological diseases.

The Coordination and Support Action (CSA) BrainHealth is the preparatory phase for a European Partnership on Brain Health. Starting on November 1st, 2023 with a runtime of 24 month this new project, funded by the European Commission, builds the umbrella for 21 participants from 11 countries. BrainHealth addresses policy makers and funders from European Member States, Associated and Third Countries and other stakeholders, in close interaction with the research community. A wide ranging and diverse CSA BrainHealth ecosystem will be created including a Funders Forum, a Stakeholders Forum, and a Scientific Advisory Board to enable broad discussions in preparation of a future European partnership on Brain Health.
