The Norwegian Brain Council has currently 58 member organisations; ranging from health professionals associations (including most medical professions working with brain disease and specialist nurses), patient´organizations and medical and scientific institutions and groups. The Norwegian Brain Council aims to promote prevention, diagnosis, treatment and follow-up of brain disease, to engage public interest in the brain and to promote research related to brain diseases and function. A main part of our work is dedicated to lobby work and to follow-up of the Norwegian Brain Strategy, launched in 2017. The current chair of the Board is Anette Storstein, MD PhD, and the CEO is Aud Kvalbein.
