The history of economic growth is defined by breakthroughs that led to previously unimaginable productivity. From the steam engine that kicked off the industrial revolution to the transformation A.I. is driving today, key breakthroughs are constantly reshaping our world.

We believe the next key breakthrough isn’t a tool, process or technology. We believe it already exists in all of us – our brains. We believe by better understanding our brains, and by extension our motivations, needs and natures, we’ll unlock the next great breakthrough. The Brain House exists to expand this pursuit beyond the halls of academia and medicine and center it in the world of capital markets and innovation needed to create a healthier, more resilient, and a more productive future.

The Davos Alzheimer’s Collaborative and partners invite you to the Brain House, which will have daily conversations on a range of topics, broadcast insights to audiences around the world, and serve as a collaborative hub where stakeholders from diverse sectors and geographies converge.

Setting a Yearlong Course of Action: Starting a Global Brain Health Movement

Claudio Bassetti, EBC Vice-President, will take part of a panel discussion on Thursday January 23rd from 11:00am – 12:30pm. Fellow speakers include George Vradenburg, Chairman and Board of Directors of Davos Alzheimer’s Collaborative, Seema Kumar, CEO of Cure, Andy Moose, Head of Health and Wellness at the World Economic Forum, Lucy Perez, Senior Partner at McKinsey & Company and Christa Studzinski, Director of Business Development and Partnerships at the Ontario Brain Institute. By bringing together voices from across sectors—government, healthcare, business, and advocacy—the Brain House will explore key actions, partnerships, and initiatives to elevate brain health on the global agenda. By leveraging the World Economic Forum’s meeting in Davos to catalyse movements at other key global events, including the G7, G20, World Health Assembly, and more, our goal is to take the “show on the road,” building momentum and driving collective action. Attendees will leave with clear commitments and a concrete plan to advance brain health, ensuring it becomes a central focus of international dialogue and policy throughout the year.
