On Thursday, November 6, 2025, the Norwegian Brain Council will host its annual Brain Health Conference, with this year's theme focusing on brain disease. One in three people in Norway will be affected by a brain disease during their lifetime—impacting not only their own lives but also those of their families. Brain diseases represent a significant and growing societal challenge. At this year's conference, participants will gain insight into the overall burden that brain diseases place on individuals and society in Norway. Building on this perspective, the program will explore how we can best promote brain health through prevention and ensure access to effective treatment and rehabilitation for those affected. By increasing knowledge and awareness of brain diseases, we can foster a deeper understanding of shared challenges and identify future opportunities to manage the burden of these conditions.
