Over the last few days, 24-27 June, members of the EBC team attended the 3rd annual Congress of the European Academy of Neurology (EAN) in Amsterdam, Netherlands. This year’s congress brought together thousands of scientists and clinicians from all over Europe and the rest of the world.
As EAN is one of EBC’s members, we were pleased to take part in the exhibition section to speak with the 6,000 in attendance and share more about the work of EBC. Sharing a booth with another member, EFNA, our two teams welcomed conference goers to the booth to take pictures on our brain new #ILoveMyBrain selfie wall and circulate the just-launched Value of Treatment Policy White Paper.
During the Presidential Address of the Opening Ceremony on 24 June, EAN President Professor Günther Deuschl highlighted the Value of Treatment (VoT) project in his speech and presentation, and emphasised on the importance of EAN’s partnership with EBC.
The VoT working group’s posters were also on display at the Congress, digitally displayed at one of the main EAN booths. Congress attendees were able to walk through all neurological disorders that were covered in the project.
