Neurotechnology is moving fast. From new treatments for neurological and mental health conditions to consumer brain-computer devices marketed directly to individuals, this field is reshaping healthcare but also raising profound ethical and societal questions. What would allowing these technologies to permeate into everyday life without clear rules and safeguards mean for society? Europe is already a global leader, with the world’s second-largest neurotechnology sector. Yet despite its economic strength and strategic relevance, neurotechnology remains largely absent from the EU’s political agenda.

On 𝟱 𝗠𝗮𝘆 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 𝗶𝗻 𝗕𝗿𝘂𝘀𝘀𝗲𝗹𝘀, the European Brain Economy Summit will open its doors for what promises to be a truly unique gathering: a cross-disciplinary conversation about how brain health can drive health, longevity and prosperity for all Europeans. The event will be a unique gathering of policymakers, strategists, scientists, industry leaders, and citizens committed to advancing a brain-positive transition. It is brought together by a fabulous coalition of organisations including Brain Capital Alliance, NeuroCentury, European Brain Council (EBC), Rice University, Global Brain Economy Initiative, McKinsey Health Institute, Euro-Mediterranean Economists Association – EMEA and RISE Research Institutes of Sweden.
