]]> To kick of Brain Awareness Week (13 – 17 March, 2017) EBC has created and published a new video on our YouTube channel. The video comes from an event organized by EBC and supported by the European Stroke Organisation (ESO), European Academy of Neurology (EAN), AF Association/Arrhythmia Alliance, and Stroke Association for Europe (SAFE). Held on 25 January 2017 at the European Parliament, Brussels, the workshop highlighted the importance of pre-screening and early detection of Atrial Fibrillation to reduce the threat of stroke.

Speakers included an inspiring testimonial from a Stroke Survivor with aphasia and his journey as a Stroke Ambassador, a presentation on the burden of Stroke, Atrial Fibrillation as presented by a Cardiologist and details on the AF awareness campaign Know Your Pulse.
