The EMSP Annual Conference 2022 will take place on 29-30 April 2022 in hybrid format, virtually and in person in Madrid, Spain.

The theme of this year’s conference is ”A Holistic Approach for Personalised MS Care”. The personalised care model seeks to deliver whole-population approaches to support people of all ages and their carers to manage their physical and mental health and well-being, build community resilience, and make informed decisions and choices when their health changes.

By bringing the MS societies, the patient communities, healthcare professionals, researchers, and policy decision makers together on a European level, the conference will aim at improving the understanding of the latest development in the field of personalised healthcare for people with MS, sharing knowledge and expertise, identifying good practices across Europe and cross-sectors.

The programme is built around 3 pillars:

• Empowering people affected by MS to make informed choices by learning about latest research developments and the latest digital support tools
• Social inclusion, the Impact of the social environment and participation in society on physical and mental health
• Building community resilience

EBC is delighted to be invited as a contributor this year, with EBC Executive Director, Frédéric Destrebecq, to take part in the session “MS in Europe: the value of integrated and personalized health and social care approaches” on the 29th of April, from 12:00 to 12:30.
