SUMMARY:EBC: Uniting Multiple Sclerosis and Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis Research Innovations through Collaborative Endeavors | 10th Congress of the European Academy of Neurology
DESCRIPTION:Date and time: Monday\, 01.07.2024\, 14:05-14:35 \nLocation: Scientific Theatre \nThe session will introduce the audience to the European Brain Council (EBC) and its activities. As a network of key stakeholders in the EU brain space including neurologists\, psychiatrists and neurosurgeons\, neuroscientists\, neurological and mental patient advocates and industry partners\, EBC aims to foster collaboration in brain health\, research and innovation\, promote the translation of research breakthroughs in the clinical practice and bridge the gap between scientists and EU policymakers. EBC also deploys his mission by gathering the EU brain community at its annual event\, Brain Innovation Days\, and through its involvement in EU-funded research projects including BRAINTEASER – Bringing artificial intelligence home for a better care of amyotrophic lateral sclerosis and multiple sclerosis. BRAINTEASER exploits the value of AI and big data to advance remote monitoring and clinical decision making in Multiple Sclerosis and Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis. The audience will have a glimpse of BRAINTEASER clinical tool and models in the second presentation. The second speaker will also discuss some preliminary results. \nSpeakersDieyenaba FayeLecture Title: European Brain Council: Uniting MS and ALS Research Innovations through Collaborative Endeavours \nDieyenaba joined EBC in March 2023. As Project Officer\, she mainly supports the application for prospective EU projects and the delivery of ongoing ones. Within the EBC Value of Treatment initiative\, she also coordinates the case study on Chronic Pain disorders. \nDieyenaba has a biomedicine background focused on human nutrition.
