SUMMARY:Value of Treatment Outreach Event - EP
DESCRIPTION:BRAIN: TIME MATTERS \nTHE VALUE OF EARLY INTERVENTION IN BRAIN\, MIND AND PAIN CONDITIONS \nOn 12 July\, the MEP Interest Groups on Brain\, Mind and Pain and on Mental Health\, Wellbeing and Brain Disorders\, in partnership with EBC\, will hold an event in the European Parliament from 12:30-15:00. \nHosted by MEPs Jana Zitnanská (ECR)\, Marian Harkin (ALDE)\, Michał Boni (EPP)\, Marek Plura (EPP) and Nessa Childers (S&D)\, the Value of Treatment for Brain Disorders (VoT) research conclusions will be discussed. The White Paper recommendations will highlight unmet needs\, new research developments\, benefits of seamless care\, and will build on key results from case studies and consultations with experts. \nThe meeting will focus on:\n• addressing the burden of diseases and issues in the current health care system\,\nthe health services delivery and care pathways design and\n• proposing evidence-based and cost-effective solutions to achieve high value for patients.
