Mission: The Irish Brain Council was formally established in 2012 with the aim of promoting all aspects of neuroscience in Ireland via advocacy activities including public outreach, strategic partnership, legislative/policy involvement and individual member engagement. Such advocacy is essential in ensuring a sustained funding stream for the future of brain research in this country. Given recent developments in funding structures, the need for such advocacy has never been stronger.
